Would you like to partner with us in ministry?
If we could write music, record, perform, worship and tour together full-time, we'd be thrilled! As it stands, music refuses to pay the bills, and Scott has about 9 years left of teaching before he can retire. Teaching DOES pay most of the bills and will help to secure our future, so apart from a direct leading from God, we'll probably stay the course until then. We make almost no money on our music, honestly. If we had the freedom to book more shows and accept more gigs, and the time and resources to pour into recording, booking and distributing, maybe that could change? But teaching is NOT a flexible occupation (except in the summer!), and we have to turn down most of the opportunities that arise just because they're too far away. In spite of that, God has graciously allowed us to keep doing ministry, to keep sharing our music and the Truth behind it, and to keep connecting with other people in the process.
For the past year, we've been honored to be a part of the Love N Laughs Tour based out of Detroit. This is a collaboration with two other Christian artists and a comedian, and because the other musicians have been amazingly understanding of Scott's job and our large family and have shouldered the set-up at these events, we're able to leave immediately after Scott gets home from work, drive 2-2.5 hours, and arrive around intermission with just enough time to set up our merch table and do a quick sound check before going on. We've also been blessed to put on our second year of The Growing Roots and Family Christmas Tour, where we perform with seven of our kids. Both of these Tours have been amazingly received, and we feel confident that God is blessing our efforts and are planning to continue both tours in 2025.
So how can you help?
PRAY
The correct Christian answer to everything, right? But seriously, we mean it. Please pray for direction, for obedience, for boldness, for our kids to be captured by Christ and not the stage, for discernment, for our marriage, for protection from the enemy, and for our message to be clear, understood and accepted. Pray that we never waste the stage but rather allow the Holy Spirit to speak through our words and our music. Pray that the Barry family would seek to glorify God in EVERYTHING, whether on stage or off. THANK YOU!!!!

PAY FOR GAS
Gas and food are two of our biggest expenses when touring. We drive a 15-passenger van and get about 11 miles per gallon. If we spend $100+ in gas to get to an event, buy 3 pizzas for dinner and make $70-$100 in a love offering (fairly typical, as the Love N Laughs tour splits a love offering equally between four performing acts and a ministry non-profit such as Celebrate Recovery), then we've actually lost money to do ministry. We're not in this for the money AT ALL and God ALWAYS provides what we need, but if you'd like to be a part of His provision, we welcome your support. Our Venmo is @Lisa-Barry-94.
WISHLIST
Instrument upkeep, stands, sound equipment and gear is expensive! This is a wish list of “someday" items along with some ongoing necessities, mostly for our Christmas Tour with the kids.

RANDOM
Do you own a West Michigan local dog boarding kennel or know someone who does? We have need of an occasional overnight place for our sweet and rambunctious 70 pound Pitbull, Penelope.
Jayna graduates this year and will lose access to a bassoon, which she's been playing since she was eleven. She's quite an accomplished bassoonist and we'd love for her to have a bassoon to call her own. Got one lying around? Weirder things have happened in God's economy. :)
